The POND FRESH outdoor water filter will remove chlorine and chloramine added by municipal water facilities to safe undetectable levels. It is designed specifically for pond owners. Simply attach the filter to your garden hose and fill up your pond with ease. The system easily installs onto any male hose thread fitting and will provide drinking quality water for your fishes.
The PF-100 incorporate high-tech alloy media and specially treated activated carbon to reduce both chlorine and chloramines. POND FRESH filters will remove sediment, however, they are not designed for this purpose and it is highly recommended to install a sediment pre-filter to prevent the filters from clogging. Chloramines are difficult to reduce and require a longer contact time with the media. As the Chlorine and Chloramines travel within the filter, they will adsorb onto the surface area of the treatment compound, thus effectively pulling the contaminants out of the flowing water.
The PF-100, reduce flow rate so that it takes 30 seconds to fill up a 1 liter bottle.
